Pre-wedding weight-loss

This can be quite a controversial subject for many people, because weight and your appearance is a deeply personal thing, and something that many people struggle with.

I am a firm believer of self-motivated weight-loss, or weight-loss for a medical reason. What I don’t believe in is weight loss for someone else.

We live in a society which is often judged upon based on people’s appearance, and for many Brides, a wedding day is an additional pressure for them to loose weight.

If you are a Bride who has come to the decision that you need/want to loose weight, then welcome to the club of millions of woment around the world (including me!!).

But how is the best way to loose weight? Apart from the obvious answer of SAFELY, there are many ways to shed those extra pounds!

I have recently joined an online group on the You and Your Wedding forum, plus downloaded the free app for iPods, iPhones and iPads, called my fitness pal.

My fitness pal is a digital calulator, which based upon the details you provide, help you to keep a track of what you are eating and the calorie content of it.

The main advice that any bride should work by is, healthy eating and drinking is the BEST way to loose weight, safely and properly!! Fad diets may work in the short term, but they can do long term damage and prevent you from loosing weight in the future.
